As a devoted friend to area farmers, Chris began his agricultural career as an auctioneer for Equity Livestock Cooperative in 1982. With a deep understanding of agriculture and close connections to Wisconsin farmers, he transitioned to the building industry as a project manager in 2006. Now, he brings almost 40 years of experience to his agriculture specialist role at Fox Structures. Keeping his ear to the ground on what’s happening in the industry, Chris still works as an auctioneer for Milwaukee Stockyards, serves as president for the Wisconsin Frame Builders Association and is a member of the National Frame Builders Association (NFBA). The NFBA has recognized his work as designer/project manager on Agriculture Building of the Year three years in a row! In 2014, he completed Star Buildings System’s Master Build/Design School course. With a special interest in dairy farms, Chris has extensive experience managing the design and construction of milking parlors, free stall barns and heifer/calf facilities including those for robotic milking and calf feeding.
